Columbia Basin Health Association adds Doctor of Osteopathy to team of providers

| March 25, 2018 1:00 AM

Columbia Basin Health Association (CBHA) has added an osteopathic physician to its team of health care providers. Dr. Matthew StantsPainter joins CBHA after practicing medicine for 12 years in Pennsylvania.

“We’re pleased to bring osteopathic health care back to the community and offer physical manipulation as part of our health care practice,” said CBHA CEO, Nieves Gomez. “Our patients asked for this; we listened. We’re happy to be able to fill the request with someone as capable as Dr. StantsPainter.”

Doctors of osteopathy specialize in promoting the body’s natural inclination toward health and self-healing. They also perform manipulations to restore structural integrity, which allows the body to heal.

Dr. StantsPainter is also a Family Practitioner/Obstetrician (FPOB). He started seeing patients March 15. Dr. StantsPainter will practice in both the Othello and Mattawa locations. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 509.488.5256 or go to www.cbha.org.
