Big Bend Electric award Co-op Scholarships

Three scholarships were awarded at the 79th Big Bend Electric Cooperative annual meeting held on March 3 at Basin City Elementary School. The winners are all seniors: Baylee Easterday, Chiawana High School, Samuel Azevedo, Othello High School, and McKenna Lovejoy, Tri-Cities Prep High School.
The scholarships are valued at $500 a year for up to four years. Two students, Talmage Hales from Chiawana High School, and Israel Poulson from Connell High School who were introduced at the meeting will participate in the NRECA Youth Tour in Washington D.C. this June.
