MOSES LAKE — It’s just about that time of the year for yard work and, luckily enough, Moses Lake’s yard waste pickup began today for city residents to take advantage of.
Yard waste materials are typically picked up on the same day as a customer’s regular garbage pickup day. Residents are asked to have their cart on the street by 6 a.m. and to put yard trimmings in loosely and not allow the carts to exceed 50 pounds.
The following debris materials are accepted: grass clippings, tree trimmings, leaves, garden waste and brush. The yard waste pickup typically runs every week from mid March through early November. For more information contact the City of Moses Lake at 509-764-3701.
