Prep roundup: Moses Lake girls golf ninth at home invite

MOSES LAKE — Kerisa Sanislo shot a 98 and Moses Lake finished ninth overall at its home invitational at Moses Lake Golf Club.

Richland edged Mead by three strokes to take home the team championship, shooting a combined 165.

Moses Lake scored 198 for ninth and Othello shot 257 for 11th.

To go with its team championship, Richland’s Macy Robertson was the individual medalist. Robertson held off Ellensburg’s Kathryn Crimp by six strokes and carded a 78 for first place.

Sanislo’s 98 was good for 18th and the low score for the Chiefs. Payton Erdmann (106) placed 20th and Kendall Sandhop (117) was 29th.

Othello’s Janey Zapata shot 128 for 36th. Edith Reyes (138), Candys Miller (141), Tanisha Salsbury (149) rounded out Othello’s scores.

Ephrata boys fourth at Clarkston Invite

CLARKSTON — Ephrata posted even scores in the 90s to finish fourth at the Clarkston Invite.

Led by scores of 91 from Jacob Rawley and Max Boruff, the Tigers shot 366.

Gonzaga Prep’s Nate Plaster shot 69 for medalist honors and the Bullpups were first overall with a score of 296.
