GoFundMe page set up for family of ML girl who attempted suicide
MOSES LAKE - A GoFundMe page has been established to benefit the family of a Moses Lake girl who was in serious condition Thursday evening at Seattle Children's Hospital.
Kyle Foreman, public information officer for the Grant County Sheriff's Office, said the girl attempted suicide earlier this week. The GoFundMe page, www.gofundme.com/angie-j-chandler, was set up for the family of the 11-year-old yesterday and has a goal of raising $30,000 to help account for unforeseen costs and bills. The page has raised over $1,500 as of Friday morning. The GoFundMe page states the girl is being treated at Seattle Children’s Hospital and she is “showing signs of being brain damaged."
Foreman said the sheriff's office has a detective assigned to the case to investigate, which is a standard procedure and normal protocol.
