City of Moses Lake Notice of Application, Public Hearing and Optional DNS Journey Church submitted an application on June 19, 2018 to use the existing buildings for Journey Church and Day Care Services and for future development of a Multi-Purpose Building, Auditorium, Children's Center & Additional Parking at 217 & 303 E Nelson Road. The application was determined to be complete and ready for review on June 25. The project has been determined to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan, and the following development regulations are applicable to the project: Moses Lake Municipal Code (MLMC) Title 14: Environmental Regulations, Title 16: Building & Construction, Title 18: Zoning. Environmental review is required for this project. The City of Moses Lake has reviewed the proposed project for probable adverse environmental impacts and expects to issue a Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this project. The optional DNS process in WAC 197-11-355 is being used. This may be your only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project. No adverse environmental impacts have been identified, so no mitigating conditions have been identified as necessary through SEPA. The project review process may include additional mitigation measures under applicable codes. Written comments on this project proposal from public agencies with jurisdiction will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on July 16, 2018. Comments on other aspects of this proposal from the general public will be accepted up to the date of the public hearing which will be before the Planning Commission on Thursday July 26, 2018 during their regular meeting starting at 7:00pm.
