Lewis Howard Zundel

Lewis Howard Zundel died on Monday, June 11 at his home in Ephrata shortly after the passing of his beautiful daughter Tiffany Rose Zundel on May 9, 2018. He was born in Sprague, Wash. on August 16, 1935 to Rienhold and Minnie Zundel. He grew up on the family wheat farm near Marlin with his three siblings and attended local schools.

After graduation from high school he attended Washington State University at Pullman majoring in philosophy and geology. He served in the U.S. Army and after his discharge worked at many construction jobs in the northwest. He moved to Butte, Montana to work on the construction of the new concentrator, and there met his wife Jane Joslin. They were married in 1966 and remained married until 1984 and two children were born of this union, Russell Zundel and Tiffany Zundel. He farmed for many years in the Marlin area until his retirement.

Lewis is survived by his son Russell Zundel (Julia) and grandchildren Tabitha, Camille and Evan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Tiffany Rose Zundel, his parents,and his brother Harvey Zundel and sisters Lorraine Steele and Gladys Smith.

Services will be held in Montana.
