Geraldine 'Gerry' Kay Scheib

Geraldine “Gerry” Kay Scheib, 77, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 12, 2018 in Moses Lake, Wash.

Geraldine was born June 26, 1940 in Grand Coulee, Wash. to parents Wilbur R. Scheib and Ruth Odegard Zundel.

Geraldine was a beautiful soul. She was kind, generous, hard-working and artistic and she loved her family deeply. She treasured the time she spent with her family, and she enjoyed shopping, giving gifts and painting. Geraldine was a waitress for much of her life and worked at Elmer’s Chinese Restaurant in Moses Lake for 19 years.

Geraldine is survived by sisters Wilma Thivierge of Soap Lake, Wash. and Delores Naccarato of Moses Lake, Wash.; brother Ed Zundel of Spokane, Wash.; four children Alan Overen of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Tammy Olson (Pete) of Covington, Wash., Teresa Iksic (Tim) of Odessa, Wash. and Jerry Mende of Moses Lake, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Zundel-Catlow.

A graveside service will be held for Geraldine at Valley View Memorial Park in Soap Lake, Wash. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow.
