Wylie 'Butch' Homesley

Wylie “Butch” Homesley, 80, of Moses Lake, Wash. passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

He was born in San Angelo, Texas on Aug. 26, 1937 to the late Tom and Francis Homesley. Butch graduated from Llano High School and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas AandM University and a doctorate from Oregon State University. He married Betty Lou Coker June 1, 1963.

Butch is survived by his wife Betty and their four children Howard and (Darci) of Moses Lake, Wash., Dale and (Jeannie) of Denver, Colo., Lisa Tull of Cottage Grove, Ore. and Gina and (Tim) Johnson of Moses Lake, Wash. and a sister Geraldine Pederson of Minneapolis, Minn. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren Jessica, Tyler, Dylan, Rylee, Marissa, Mikayla, Brendan and Annika.

A memorial service will be held at the Moses Lake Event Center, 1475 Nelson Rd. NE, Moses Lake Wash. on June 30 at 11 a.m. followed by a time to share memories. Lunch will be potluck style with the main dish provided by the family.
