Potato commission hires summer intern
MOSES LAKE — The Washington State Potato Commission has a new staff member for the summer.
Natalie McCullough, a recent graduate of the University of Washington, will be joining the commission as its summer communications intern, responsible for assisting with the organization of promotional events, creating media campaigns, and even serving as a potato ambassador.
McCullough has a bachelor of arts in Communication and a minor in Political Science, according to the potato commission. She also served as president of the Public Relations Society at UW and has experience in media logistics, event planning and social media engagement.
She is the Potato Commission’s second communication intern. The commission said it established the program to give college grads practical work experience in media and public relations.
