Newhouse stands up for the flag

This Flag Day, I want to thank our Congressman, Dan Newhouse, for standing up for the Stars and Stripes. Congressman Newhouse is a cosponsor of a bill to amend the U.S. Constitution to prohibit the desecration of the American flag.

At a time in our nation when celebrities and sports stars disregard the great sacrifices our men and women in uniform and their families give to their nation, our U.S. Representative in Washington, D.C. is doing his part to honor our service members by proudly standing up for our flag.
