Big inning dooms Wenatchee in loss to Corvallis

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Corvallis scored six runs in the sixth inning to pull away and beat Wenatchee 12-3.
Sam Olsson accounted for three of the Knights’ 19 hits, which included two singles and a double.
The AppleSox were able to tie the game, 2-2, in the fifth inning when Mason Marenco notched an RBI on a fielder’s choice and Jordan Rathbone hit an RBI single.
From there, it was all Corvallis. The Knights regained the lead with three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
