Hip and knee replacement seminar hosted by Samaritan Healthcare
MOSES LAKE — Samaritan Healthcare is hosting a free Orthopaedic Surgery Seminar with Dr. Leo Chough, Samaritan’s staff orthopaedic surgeon, presenting information about hip and knee replacements, sports medicine, and more.
The public is invited to attend the seminar at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, at Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center (CB Tech), 900 East Yonezawa Boulevard in Moses Lake.
“Dr. Chough is a leader in rapid recovery hip and knee replacement,” said Theresa Sullivan, CEO of Samaritan Healthcare. “His specialties include knee replacements, sports medicine, and the anterior hip procedure—a state-of-the-art muscle-sparing hip replacement technique now available locally.”
Dr. Chough is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has years of experience nationwide, plus additional training in a sports medicine fellowship with the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers. He has successfully performed anterior hip surgeries for more than ten years and he is highly regarded for the muscle-sparing procedure—even instructing other surgeons in the technique which leads to more-rapid recoveries.
