Report of suspicious circumstances in McCosh Park. The subject, contacted near the park, said he was practicing his WWE moves and wanted to know what it would feel like to head-butt a trash can.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 400 block of West Ridge Road. Reporting party said her fence was damaged while she was away.

Report of theft in the 1100 block of South Division Street. Reporting party said medication had been taken from the residence.

A woman, no age listed, was arrested for second-degree burglary after attempting to steal merchandise from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2400 block of West Peninsula Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into vehicle 2, which was parked and unoccupied.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree burglary and third degree theft, and an 18-year-old woman was cited for third-degree theft, after they allegedly attempted to change the prices on merchandise at the self-checkout at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of graffiti on a church at 333 N. Central Dr. Damage estimated at about $400.

A 31-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. Driver of vehicle 1 was traveling north when driver of vehicle 2 tried to cross the intersection at SR 17. Vehicle 1 hit vehicle 2.

Report of vandalism at a residence in the 1100 block of South Ashley Way. Victim said that sometime overnight unknown suspects spray painted the garage.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 700 block of North Paxson Drive. Reporting party’s vehicle was ransacked sometime overnight. Thieves stole a knife.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident on Dogwood Street. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into the back of vehicle 2.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of North Stratford Road and Knolls Vista Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2.

A 38-year-old man was arrested for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft, and a 39-year-old woman was arrested for second-degree trespassing after they allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 9800 block of Northeast Highland Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 turned a corner from Longview Drive, became distracted and hit a parked trailer.

Report of fraud at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect returned merchandise he had taken off the shelf and fled when store employees tried to talk to him.

Report of attempted scam. Reporting party attempted to turn herself in; she said she had received a call that she had missed jury duty and a warrant had been issued for her arrest. The caller demanded $2,000, but the reporting party said she didn’t have the money. She was advised the call was a scam.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for second-degree trespassing.

Report of one-vehicle accident at the intersection at North Central Drive and North Grape Drive. Vehicle 1 experienced mechanical failure; driver attempted to back up and hit a power pole, knocking it down.

Grant County Jail

June 1

Kenneth Warner, 56, Soap Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail on an outstanding Grant County warrant for first-degree criminal trespassing.

Loni Sandoval, 33, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Nicholas Brown, 33, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Jose Gonzalez Barrera, 31, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Francisco Jimenez, 33, Wenatchee, was booked on an outstanding Chelan County warrant for DUI and second-degree driving without a valid driver’s license and an outstanding East Wenatchee warrant for DUI and third-degree driving without a valid driver’s license.

Bethany Steele, 29, Warden, was booked for violation of a no-contact order and on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for violation of a no-contact order.

June 2

Gregory Dicecco, 33, Tacoma, was booked for second-degree criminal trespassing.
