Tri-City Titans 5-6, Spuds 4-3

KENNEWICK — Central Washington could not quite get over the hump in either game against the Titans and lost 5-4, 6-3 in a road doubleheader.

Tri-City won by way of walk-off in the opener. Trailing 4-3 entering the bottom of the seventh inning, Jackson Ziobro drew a bases-loaded walk and Christian Berry hit a gamewinning RBI single.

Wade Visker tripled and had three RBIs for the Spuds.

In Game 2, the Titans broke a 1-1 tie with a five-run fifth inning.

Taylor Johnson tripled and drove in two runs for Tri-City.

Jett Nelson was 2-for-3 with two RBIs to lead the Spuds.
