STATE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY NOTICE OF REVISION TO AN AIR POLLUTION SOURCE The Washington Department of Ecology received a Notice of Construction (NOC) application to expand the existing Microsoft MWH Data Center located at 1515 Port Industrial Parkway, Quincy, WA. The data center expansion will include 68 3.0-MWe emergency generators, four 1.5-MWe emergency generators, and 136 evaporative fluid coolers. Potential maximum one-year emissions include 91.2 tons of nitrogen oxides (NOx), 19.6 tons of carbon monoxide (CO), 22.2 tons of particulate matter (PM10), and 16.6 tons of volatile organic compounds (VOC). With this expansion, Microsoft MWH Data Center will become a Title V major source and is required to submit an Air Operating Permit application within a year after receiving an Approval Order to install equipment. After review of the completed NOC application and other information, Ecology determined this project meets all requirements specified in Chapter 173-400 WAC.
