The work consists of construction of approximately 4,900 feet new railroad auxiliary track including, earthwork (totaling approximately 17,500 CY), and base materials totaling approximately 3,200 CY), ballasted track, two each turnouts (one of which is a connecting turnout installed into existing track), one each sliding derail, two each earthen bumpers, approximately 1500 linear feet of walkway, and 32 track feet of timber grade crossing, using primarily contractor supplied materials.
