MOSES LAKE — A man was injured Friday evening during an apparent drive-by shooting in the Larson Community.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies and Moses Lake officers responded to the 1100 block of Arlington Drive about 10:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting. The 20-year-old male victim was transported to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake for treatment of minor injuries and he was later released.

Deputies believe the victim was the intended target in the shooting and they are waiting for search warrants to be granted for two impounded vehicles they suspect were involved in the incident.

“Due (to) the current investigation, no other information can be released at this time,” stated the sheriff’s office in a news release.

If you have any information on the incident contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at 509-762-1160 or at crimetips@grantcountywa.gov. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
