July 17

Report of a verbal domestic incident between a mother and daughter on North Evelyn Drive. No assault occurred and the mother agreed to leave the residence.

Report of a female assaulting a male with a hammer on West Central Drive. The female was not located, but the male was found and arrested on confirmed warrants.

Several people reported receiving a fraudulent phone call.

Report of a possible DUI in the area of state Route 17 and East Broadway Avenue. Police contacted the driver, who was not impaired.

An unknown suspect stole a pressure washer from Walmart and fled the scene.

Report of a tan car following too close behind a motorcycle in the area of South Division Street and East Nelson Road. Police could not locate the vehicles.

A man reported an unknown subject keyed his vehicle on West Century Street.

A man reported his vehicle was keyed on South Balsam Street. A 9mm pistol was stolen out of the vehicle as well.

July 18

Report of a male on the ground and growling on West Linden Avenue. Police contacted a male and female who were intoxicated in the area. The subjects were given a courtesy ride home.

Report of a fixture damaged at the Moses Lake Dog Park on North Paxson Drive.

A man reported his neighbor entered his home on South Juniper Drive uninvited and left a flyer on the counter.

Report of items stolen out of a vehicle on West Polo Ridge Drive.

Report of a vehicle prowl in a business' parking lot on East Kittleson Road.

Police could not locate a male who was swinging a rifle in the area of West Valley Road and North Grape Drive.

Report of a homeless person setting up camp behind Ross on North Stratford Road. The business requested the subject be asked to leave the area.

A business on South Pioneer Way reported finding pry marks on one of their doors.

Grant County Jail

July 18

Dewey Garner, 33, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding warrant out of Texas for a parole violation.

Gennie Underwood, 36, of Quincy, was arrested and booked for third-degree theft.

Nathan Craton, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and a Department of Corrections warrant.

Victoria Martinez, 24, of Quincy, was booked on a DOC secretary's warrant and outstanding Grant County District Court warrants for fourth-degree assault and first-degree criminal trespassing.
