A vote for Matt Manweller

| July 19, 2018 3:00 AM

I have known Matt Manweller since he became our 13th District Representative in 2013. I have met with Matt on numerous occasions to discuss issues that affect me, personally, in Moses Lake. I have followed his voting record and find that he represents my opinions very well in Olympia. As my employee I would give him an excellent job performance review and hope to retain his services for years to come.

I believe that a vote for Matt Manweller is a vote for a smaller, less expensive state government. Matt has been, and will continue to be, my voice where property and water rights are concerned, while supporting local control of land use and school choices. I know that Matt is strongly opposed to a Washington state income tax, or any new taxes. I really like that.

Matt even introduced a “common sense” bill to prevent school shootings while strongly defending my Second Amendment rights. As an educator himself, Matt knows the balance required in providing school safety without infringing on citizens’ rights. In Olympia, Matt sits on the Appropriations Committee, the Labor and Workplace Standards Committee and the Technology and Economic Development Committee. Given our vastly diverse economy in the Columbia Basin, Matt is positioned perfectly to represent our best interests, especially with his work involving Technology and our eastern Washington economy.

Take the time to check out the Matt Manweller web site. Look at his voting record in Olympia. See if Matt represents you as he does me. Encourage his continued representation of the 13th District with your vote.
