Moses Lake Rattlers 14U reach quarterfinals at summer nationals

NEWBERG, Ore. — The Moses Lake Rattlers 14U reached the quarterfinals of the 2018 NAFA Summer Nationals 14B Championship.

The Rattlers fell to Seattle FC 7-6 in the quarterfinals on a walk-off hit by Claire Foster.

The loss dropped the Rattlers to the consolation bracket where they won their first game against Silver Falls Fusion 7-5. Next, the Rattlers were eliminated by the Eugene Lightning 8-4.

Against the Lightning, Taylor Hofheins and Katelyn Kriete drove in two runs each. Hofheins was 1-for-2 with a double.

Moses Lake finished its tournament run 4-2 overall.
