| July 12, 2018 3:00 AM

November 3, 1955 – July 7, 2018

Teresa Rae Bingham passed away July 7, 2018 at her home in Port Angeles, Wash. after a courageous 129-day battle with cancer. She was born in Moses Lake, Wash. to her parents Russell and Imo Beeman on Nov. 3, 1955.

As a child, Teresa played fastpitch softball, snow skied and spent time with her brothers on the Tye River at the cabin. She graduated Moses Lake High School in 1974. On August 13, 1977 Teresa married her lifelong partner Lawrence Bingham. She worked at Seafirst Bank in Moses Lake. Then they moved to Port Angeles, Wash. in 1980, where she raised her family and continued to work at Seafirst Bank (later Bank of America) until her retirement in 2003.

Teresa was kind and generous. She was also bold. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends and was active in helping in any way possible. She spent 13 years as a baseball team mom and manager, and was an avid Mariners fan. Finally, after many years, she placed in the popular family annual Tye River Horseshoe Tournament. She was very proud of that honor. She loved music and concerts and Christmas. Christmas was important to Teresa, and she was known for her extraordinary celebrations.

Teresa had two passions – her grandchildren and her garden. When she wasn’t with her grandchildren she was in her yard nurturing a bright assortment of orange and yellow flowers, her favorite colors. She certainly had a green thumb.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 42 years Lawrence Bingham; two children Casey Harkleroad (husband Andy) of Covington, Wash. and Chris Bingham (partner Kailyn Brown) of Tacoma, Wash.; stepson Lance Bingham (wife Kelly) of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren Gordon Harkleroad and Lily Brown; two brothers Tim Beeman of Washington and Ted Beeman (wife Jadine) of Moses Lake, Wash.; several nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and Dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father Russell Beeman and mother Fanny Imo Beeman.

It is not often someone as selfless and special as Teresa graces this earth. She will always have a special place in our hearts and will be greatly missed. We love you!

There will be a Celebration of Life for Teresa on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Elks Lodge, 814 N. Stratford Rd. in Moses Lake, Wash. from 5 to 7 p.m.

Please come and share with us your memories and stories wearing your orange and yellow.
