The Washington Apple Commission has hired Toni Lynn Adams as the new communications outreach coordinator.

Adams’ responsibilities include communicating trade information to apple growers, developing website improvements, corresponding with market country representatives and publicizing the WAC’s mission. The grower-governed public agency provides advertising, promotion, education and market development for the Washington fresh apple crop.

Adams received her B.A. in Strategic Communications and a minor in Agricultural Systems from Washington State University. She has previously served as the Marketing Manager for a tourism based business in Seattle and an interim Microsoft Production Studios team member.

Adams brings with her knowledge of the apple industry through her experience on her family’s apple orchard in the Yakima Valley.
