MLHS grad Boyd tosses six strong for AppleSox

WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee AppleSox scored six runs over the first three innings to beat Bellingham 6-2.

Wenatchee High School graduate Jacob Prater had a big evening with two hits, two runs scored and four RBI. Prater hit a three-run homer in the first inning to help Wenatchee regain the lead 3-1.

Moses Lake High School graduate Hunter Boyd allowed two runs early but settled down to strike out seven batters in six innings.
