Drew Dean Latham

| July 11, 2018 3:00 AM

February 28, 1990 – July 7, 2018

Drew Dean Latham, 28, of Odessa, Wash. passed away at home on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Drew was born in Moses Lake on Feb. 28, 1990. He grew up farming. He enjoyed motorcycles, skiing, snowmobiling and longboarding.

He graduated in 2008 and spent about a year at Big Bend before he decided he wanted to go to dive school. After completing dive school he moved to Louisiana and dove for Global and Aqueous.

In the meantime, he had met the love of his life. Drew and Rebecca met in May 2010, shortly after starting a family with the birth of Bradley Dean Latham. As much as Drew loved diving it didn’t work for family life.

Drew, Rebecca and Bradley moved back home and worked on the family farm before moving to Odessa in 2016 and continuing to farm with Weishaar Farms. In 2015, Drew, Rebecca and Bradley added to their family. Ryan Wolf Latham was born June 4.

Drew’s family meant the world to him and he was an amazing father. Drew was adventurous and loved life in high gear. (He never understood what second and third gear were for). He was generous and caring to a fault, he had a huge heart. He had several close friends that meant the world to him. And he was fortunate enough to have a brother that was one of his best friends.

Drew Dean Latham is survived by his family Rebecca, Bradley and Ryan and preceded in death by his grandpa Don White.

In lieu of flowers, Drew would have preferred any contributions go to his boys’, Bradley and Ryan’s, future needs. A basket will be available at the funeral or donations may be made at Ephrata Washington Trust Bank in Rebecca Camacho’s name.

A funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at Nicoles Funeral Chapel, 157 C St NW, Ephrata, Wash. with graveside service to follow at the Ephrata Cemetery. Please express your thoughts and memories for the family at www.nicolesfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the care of Nicoles Funeral Home of Ephrata.
