Lois Mae Luiten

Lois Mae Luiten passed away June 27, 2018 in Spokane, Wash. She was born Dec. 20, 1933 to Jacob and Minnie Raugust in Cashmere, Wash.

Lois was a lifelong member of the Heritage Church in Odessa. Lois loved quilting, embroidery, traveling with her sister and brother and cooking. She was the secretary for the Heritage Church for 30 years.

Lois is survived by her children Debbie (Evan) Schafer, Greg (Kellie) Luiten and Tom Luiten; grandchildren Jeremy (Meleanie) Schlimmer, Jake Schlimmer, Megan Schlimmer, Landon (Kim) Luiten, Bryce Luiten, Ireland Luiten and Shena (Kyle) Starkel; great-grandchildren Hadyn and Carter Schlimmer, Zoe and Joshua Clark, Leah and Blake Luiten and Henry and Hadly Starkel; one brother Bob (Purita) Raugust and numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Dick Luiten in 1985 and three sisters Helen Bartalamay, Delores Morford and Marjorie McCormack.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Heritage Church in Odessa, Wash. on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11 am with Pastor John Hayashi officiating.
