June 29

Police contacted a male who was yelling and laying on the grass in the Japanese Peace Gardens. The man was arrested on confirmed warrants.

Report of a bumper stolen off of a work truck in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue.

A man was trespassed from a business in the 900 block of North Stratford Road.

Report of an erratically driven semi-truck on state Route 17. Moses Lake police notified the Washington State Patrol.

Police contacted two shoplifters at Walmart. The suspects admitted to stealing items from the business. Heroin was found on one of the suspects and they were both taken into custody.

A suspect was arrested at a bank in the 300 block of South Division Street after passing an altered check for cash.

Report of a male and female arguing in a car in the 600 block of South Division Street. Police were told the male had a gun, but no gun was found and the subjects advised they were just arguing.

Report of a dog locked in a hot vehicle in the 900 block of North Stratford Road. Police could not locate the vehicle.

A juvenile was spotted throwing rocks off of the Stratford Road overpass onto SR-17. Police could not locate the juvenile.

Report of juveniles attempting to prowl a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Alderwood Drive. Police could not locate the juveniles.

June 30

A male and female stole a cart full of electronics from Walmart and fled the area..

Report of a male possibly passed out in the back of a vehicle in the 3500 block of West Peninsula Drive. Police determined there was no medical emergency and the man was arrested on confirmed warrants.

Report of a female screaming in a public restroom in the 200 block of West Third Avenue. The woman agreed to stop screaming.

An outhouse was tipped over by an unknown person at Cascade Park.

Report of two suspicious subjects behind a dumpster in the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue.

Report of possible shots fired on North Clark Road. Police could not locate evidence of shots being fired in the area.

Police were advised of a loud party near South Battery Road. The homeowners were advised to turn their music off.

Grant County Jail

June 29

Eduardo Najera Cruz, 24, Moses Lake, was booked into the Grant County Jail for forgery and third-degree theft.

Cody Hoiness, 28, Moses Lake, was booked felony harassment and resisting arrest, and on outstanding GCDC warrants for DUI, hit and run (attended), third-degree theft and driving without required ignition interlock.

Jesus Rubio Montejano, 31, Ephrata, was booked for possession of controlled substances.

Brandi Smithers, 28, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of controlled substances, second-degree burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree theft.

Phillip Osborne, 29, Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.

Matthew Smith, 33, Wheeling, W.V., was booked for possession of controlled substances.

Antony Reyes, 21, Othello, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for third-degree assault of a law enforcement officer and an outstanding Douglas County warrant for indecent exposure.

Anthony Garcia, 43, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Adams County warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Gold, 52, transient in Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC commitment order to serve three days.

June 30

Aaron Koski, 19, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief.
