SOAP LAKE — Three people were injured in a Tuesday morning collision near Soap Lake that involved four vehicles.

About 10:15 a.m. Amy Days, 39, of Twisp, was heading south in a 2014 Jeep Wrangler on state Route 17 approaching state Route 28 near Soap Lake when she reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign. Days reportedly collided with the passenger side of a 2010 Honda Element driven by Colleen Martin, 79, of Wilson Creek, who was traveling west on SR-28.

The Wrangler reportedly then struck a 2014 Ford Focus driven by Burton Turner, 58, of Grand Coulee, and a 2013 Chevrolet Express G25 driven by Shane Hobson, 39, of Quincy. The Wrangler reportedly rolled and came to a rest on its top, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Days, Martin and Turner were injured in the collision and transported to local hospitals for treatment. The patrol reports Days was cited for failure to yield. The highway was closed for several hours on Tuesday as the investigation was investigated by police.
