Jan. 24

Report of a possible burglary at a residence in the 1800 block of West Marina Drive. No physical evidence of a burglary was located at the scene.

Report of a suspicious female in the 5900 block of Turnkey Road Northeast. Police could not locate the female in the area.

A teacher at Midway Elementary reported being threatened by a student.

A woman reported she was followed by a vehicle that almost caused an accident. Police could not locate the vehicle.

An unknown suspect stole $60 worth of alcohol from Safeway and fled the scene.

A woman was arrested on a felony warrant and second-degree burglary after she was caught stealing $130 worth of items from Safeway.

A man attempted to flee a officer in the area of Stewart Road Northeast and Maple Drive Northeast. The driver and his passenger were arrested on outstanding warrants. Drug paraphernalia was spotted by police in the vehicle.

Report of an unknown suspect stealing an 18-pack of beer from a convenience store in the 600 block of North Stratford Road.

Four fraudulent calls purporting to be from the IRS were reported.

A bag full of purses was reportedly found.

A woman reported that her husband beat her.

A man reported his vehicle stolen.

Marcos Santos, 25, of Quincy, was booked on an outstanding Douglas County warrant for DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Michael Herrera, 34, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and a DOC secretary’s warrant.

Miguel Jimenez, 61, of Othello, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for DUI and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

James Nazworthy, 48, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked on a DOC order for arrest and detention.

Armando Rubio, 30, of Moses Lake, was booked on a DOC short-term confinement order.

Rena Flaherty, 37, of Kent, was arrested and booked for DUI, third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license and making false statements.

April Bernthal, 39, of Othello, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Evan Keith, 29, of Spokane, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for criminal solicitation.

Omar Antunez, of Royal City, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County Superior Court bench warrant for possession of methamphetamine, an outstanding GCDC warrant for reckless driving and an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Zachary Thomas, 25, of Nespelem, was booked for attempting to elude and fourth-degree assault.

Austin Spurgeon, 24, of Moses Lake, was booked for second-degree possession of stolen property and attempted third-degree theft.

Cassandra Ochoa, 23, of Warden, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for driving without a valid operator’s license.

Duncan Long, 20, of Lake Stevens, was booked for second-degree assault.

Matteau Queen, 19, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault.

Shane Reiner, 43, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for second-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.
