Karen Kim Corkins

May 14, 1971 – January 21, 2018

Our beloved Karen Kim Corkins, 46, born in Ephrata on May 14, 1971, left this world on Jan. 21, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully with the loving arms of family and friends around her.

Karen grew up in Yakima, and then moved to Moses Lake to finish school. She was a fun-loving woman who lived life to the fullest. Karen was the mom of four children, whom she loved dearly. She also loved her family and friends, “her” Seahawks, and all animals.

Karen was preceded in death by her grandmother Annie Cox. She is survived by the love of her life Ben Gonzalez, her mother Kathy Delvechio of Moses Lake, her father Ric Corkins of Yakima, grandparents Vern and Em Corkins of Ephrata and her children Karrissa Wescott, Haley Hayes, Jason Anderson and Jessica Anderson. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, two brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved animals.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. The funeral service will be at 1 .m., both at Nicoles Funeral Home, 157 C St. NW in Ephrata, immediately followed by burial ceremonies at the City of Ephrata Cemetery.

Karen’s favorite quote was “Go Hawks” and in honor of Karen Seahawks attire is suggested.
