WorkSource offers employment help to people affected by Chico's fire

MOSES LAKE — WorkSource Central Basin will host a meeting at 10 a.m. Friday to connect Chico’s Pizza Parlor employees with employment and training help.

Chico’s, a longtime Moses Lake business, burned Saturday when an oven fire spread to the roof. The structure still stands but the inside was destroyed.

Information will be provided on filing for unemployment benefits, job search assistance, training options such as college scholarships, training programs, GED/high school completion and more.

Employees from other affected businesses are also invited to attend.

Friday’s 10 a.m. meeting will be held at WorkSource Central Basin, located at 309 E. Fifth Ave., Moses Lake. For more information, please call Emily Anderson at 509-766-6315.
