Clark Phillips

Clark William Phillips passed away Dec. 26 in a hospital in the Tri-Cities at the age of 75. He was born and raised in Lind, where he spent all of his life. He was the son of Chester and Alice Phillips, a longtime farm family in the Lind area.

Clark, having been injured in a bike accident in his early years, was still able to help his dad on the farm until Chester had a tragic farm accident in 1977. Clark then leased the farm ground out, and spent his time taking care of his mother until her death in 2014.

Clark is survived by his sister Bernadine Reid. Lind, Wash., nephew Ryan Reid, Connell, Wash. and niece Amy Reid, Connell, Wash.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018 at the Lind Senior Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Adams County District 2 Fire Department (Lind Fire Department).
