Wilber Woodrow (Billy) Steuerwald

August 20, 1956 – January 13, 2018

Wilber Woodrow (Billy) Steuerwald passed away Jan. 13, 2018 in Richland Wash. due to leukemia. Billy was born on Aug. 20, 1956 in Tucson, Ariz. to Wilbur W. and Annabelle (Willson) Steuerwald.

At an early age Billy lived with his uncle Dale and aunt Maxine Steuerwald in Iowa, then moved to San Diego to live with his mother and her second husband. They then moved to Florida where he finished his education and went to JFCC where he majored in general studies. While in Florida he went to the Bahamas twice and loved to surf. He also worked at Gordon Thompson Motors.

In 1978 they moved to Warden, Wash. where he meet the love of his life, Sally Jo Edwards. They were married on July 29, 1988 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Billy has worked at many car dealerships and also went to welding school. He loved cars and motorcycles and always wanted to go to the bike shops and car shows no matter where they were.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather.

He is survived by his wife Sally Jo; in-laws Gordan and Ann Edwards and Julie (Danny) Jones, Quincy; sister Kay (Cliff) Lewis, Wenatchee; brother Steve (Connie) Steuerwald, Craigmon Idaho; many nieces and nephews Deborah (Bill) Hartl, Tom Lewis, Paul, Landon and Chelsea (Ken) Rider, Christan (Jeremy) Seda, Ethan, Jaselynn, Teyah, Alexis, Roan, Liam, Levi (Clarrissa) Jones, Hunter, Paityn, Pieper, Gunnar and the cat Gigi.

Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Community Church in Warden.
