Jan. 12

Report of a mailbox spray painted with graffiti in the 300 block of North Grape Drive.

Report of a hit-and-run in the parking lot at WinCo Foods. The suspect vehicle was later located, but the driver was not found.

A man reported an unknown person entered his residence in the 1000 block of South Clover Drive and stole his wife's purse and an iPad.

Police located a man sleeping in a tent behind Fairchild Cinemas. The man was arrested on a felony warrant and transported to jail.

A man reported a dog bit him in the 500 block of North Dale Road. The dog was taken to the animal shelter for a 10-day bite hold.

Gang graffiti was located on a power box in the area of North Paxson Drive and West Century Drive.

A man reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person who told him he has warrants out for his arrest.

A man reported his son was jumped by a group of juveniles while walking home from school. One of the juveniles admitted to hitting the victim. Charges will be filed against the suspect for assault.

Report of an unknown woman stealing items from Safeway and fleeing the scene.

Report of an unknown male stealing items from a business in the 600 block of South Pioneer Way and fleeing the scene.

Jan. 13

Report of an unknown person driving through grass in a park off South Division Street. The grass was damaged during the incident.

A man was cited and released after stealing about $10 worth of candy from WinCo Foods.

Police responded to the Surf n' Slide Water Park for a report of trespassers. A group of juveniles advised one of their friends threw their skateboards over the fence into the park and they hopped the fence to retrieve them. The juveniles were released to their parents.

A man told police his spouse was drinking and possibly shot a dog. The dog was not located and no evidence of a wounded animal was found.

Report of a suspect attempting to prowl and siphon gasoline out of vehicles in the area of East Hill Avenue and South Division Street.

Report of shots fired in the area of 500 block of North Central Drive. A vehicle was found by police and one person was arrested on a warrant. No shell casings were found in the area.

A woman reported hearing a person attempting to cut a fence in front of a storage unit facility in the 1200 block of South Boyle Street.

A woman was arrested for drugs and theft after she was caught stealing from WinCo Foods.

Jan. 14

Report of gang-related graffiti in the 600 block of South Alder Street.

Report of an unknown subject using a $50 bill at a business in the 1000 block of West Marina Street.

A man reported witnessing children riding quads in a vacant field near West Gary Street. The children were contacted and advised about riding ATVs in city limits.

A man was permanently trespassed from Safeway after stealing merchandise from the store.

Report of two males putting items down into a sewer on South Alder Street. The males advised they were picking up garbage.

Report of shots fired in the area of North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. The sound was determined to be a vehicle backfiring.

A man reported a male in a silver passenger car pointed a finger at him and made a "bang" sound on West Peninsula Drive.

Grant County Jail

Jan. 12

Michael Vreeman, 21, Quincy, was booked into the Grant County Jail for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), an outstanding Grant County District Court for third-degree driving with a suspended license and outstanding Douglas County warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license and driving without required ignition interlock.

Daniel Clark, 52, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamines and outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of second-degree criminal trespassing.

Aaron Eddy, 29, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant for possession of controlled substances.

Jan. 13

Luis Vargas Garcia, 35, Mattawa, was booked on an outstanding Yakima County warrant for first-degree negligent driving.

Joel Villela, 25, Quincy, was arrested for possession of cocaine, DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Delana Williams, 39, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of heroin, first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and third-degree theft.

Yurida Marmolejo, 21, Moses Lake, was booked for possession of methamphetamines and third-degree theft.

Michael Bernal, 25, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree theft.

Fidel Saucedo, 27, Royal City, was sentenced to serve 34 days on two outstanding GCDC warrants for DUI.

Patricio Moncada, 29, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for third-degree assault.

Matthew Low, 29, Soap Lake/transient, was booked for second-degree criminal trespassing and violation of a no-contact order.

Josiah Clardy, 31, Soap Lake/transient, was booked for possession of methamphetamines and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Shanice Grant, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Douglas County warrant.

Nicole Reyes, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Jan. 14

Matthew Stinnett, 40, Moses Lake, was booked for violation of a no-contact order.

Erica Pruneda, 28, Warden, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for violation of a no-contact order, second-degree vehicle prowl, second-degree criminal trespassing and obstructing law enforcement.

Giovanni Cruz, 22, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Jan. 15

Michael Stead, 31, Grand Coulee, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for criminal solicitation, second-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Nickolas Montemayor, 32, Warden, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Cassandra Graves, 27, Grand Coulee, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Guadelupe Escobedo, 19, Royal City, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants from use of drug paraphernalia and third-degree driving with a suspended license.
