Adams County Voluntary Stewardship Program Public Meetings Adams County is seeking agricultural producer input on the draft Voluntary Stewardship Program (VSP) Work Plan. The VSP is a new, non-regulatory program intended to balance natural resources protection on agricultural lands while maintaining the economic viability of agriculture. Success of the VSP depends upon producers' participation in this program and continued implementation of conservation practices on agricultural lands. Adams County VSP Work Group is hosting two public meetings to share information about the VSP and how to get involved, discuss the County's draft VSP Work Plan, and provide an opportunity for input. OTHELLO CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council for the City of Othello will hold a public hearing to consider authorizing City staff submittal of an application for funding assistance to Rural Development (RD), a division of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The application is for RD loan and grant monies to be used to finance the replacement of Well #3. The public hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 22nd, 2018 shortly after 6:30 p.m. The public hearing will be held in the Othello Council Chambers located at 500 East Main Street, Othello, Washington. The City of Othello Council Chambers is handicap accessible and the City can reasonably accommodate any special needs requests. Please contact City Hall at 509-488-5686 at least 24-hours in advance of the meeting if reasonable accommodations are needed. A Spanish speaking interpreter will be available to accommodate non-English speakers. Public comments are welcomed. AVISO DE AUDIENCIA PÚBLICA DEL CONSEJO DE CIUDAD DE OTHELLO SE DA AVISO DE que el Concejo Municipal de la ciudad de Othello llevará a cabo una audiencia pública para considerar la posibilidad de autorizar el personal de la ciudad de enviar una solicitud de ayuda financiera al Desarrollo Rural (RD), una división del Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos ( USDA).
