Timoteo Barajas Garcia

Timoteo Barajas Garcia was born in Aguililla, Michoacan, Mexico on March 20, 1933 to Adelaida Garcia and Timoteo Barajas Sr. He passed away at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee on Jan. 2, 2018.

Tim, or “Timmy” as some called him, although most knew him as “El Abuelo”, was known for his money-making skills, his kindness and generosity and his sense of humor. He always had a joke or story to tell. His preferred job was yardwork and taking care of the plants, especially the vegetable garden. His joy was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he loved to eat and sleep, or as he put it, “just resting his eyes.”

He is survived by his children Ramona Peña Barajas and Antonio Barajas; his grandchildren Juan, Noe, Lorena , Eduardo, Trinidad, Angel, Toño, Adriana, Hugo, Benny and Chris and his siblings Carolina Barajas, Adelina Rojas Barajas, Antonio Rubio, Bernardino Espinoza Garcia and Daniel Espinoza.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, followed by interment at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake. Arrangements are in care of Pioneer Memorial Services, Moses Lake.
