Report of an unknown subject stealing change from a vending machine in the 3200 block of Road N Northeast.

Report of two subjects smoking marijuana in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 200 block of East Ninth Avenue. The subjects were contacted and trespassed from the complex.

A man reported the front license plate was stolen off of his vehicle in the 8600 block of Harris Road Northeast.

Report of subjects snorting drugs inside of a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Division Street. Police could not locate the vehicle in the area.

A woman reported receiving a fraudulent phone call from a person claiming to represent the "Social Security Office."

Report of a male stealing a can of beer and cookies from Rite Aid and fleeing the scene.

A officer spotted two subjects smoking marijuana in a vehicle at Cascade Park. The subjects were released to a sober adult.

Report of a window broken by an unknown subject in the 1300 block of East Hunter Place.

A man threatened to kill his mother and have her residence shot up in a drive-by. The suspect was taken into custody after running from police, hiding in a field and later calling dispatch and advising he was suicidal.

A woman reported that her neighbor’s dog was in her front yard.

A man reported damage to his vehicle.

A woman reported that her daughter’s ex was violating a protection order.

A woman reported that her vehicle was broken into overnight.

A woman reported her truck had been stolen.

Jan. 3

Wayne Furman, 51, of Coulee City, was booked on a Department of Corrections arrest and detention order.

Toribio Hernandez, 41, of Quincy, was arrested for second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance.

Salvador Rose, 26, of Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.

Evgueni Iaprynstev, 23, of Moses Lake, was booked for theft of a motor vehicle.

Freddie Cruz, 20, of Moses Lake, was booked for felony threats to kill.

Veronica Bautista, 25, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on an outstanding Grant County District Court warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Matthew Montgomery, 30, of Ephrata, was arrested and booked for unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault.

Jan. 4

Jesus Gomez, 54, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked on a DOC secretary's warrant.

David Floyd, 58, of Moses Lake, was arrested and booked for violation of a protection order.
