February 2, 1958 – December 28, 2017

Tamara Lynn Hayes passed away in her home Dec. 28, 2017 at 59 years old after a short battle with cancer. She was born Feb. 2, 1958 in Mount Vernon, Wash. to Phyllis (Oppewall) Kinsman and Bert VanOssenbruggen. As a child, she loved music and singing. She once sang “Harper Valley PTA” to her elementary PTA; she sang in country bands and eventually went into the Karaoke business.

She married the love of her life Wes Hayes on July 4, 1997 in Post Falls, Idaho. They loved to vacation, especially in Mexico, often sharing their time with family and friends. Tami and Wes did foster care for several children and then later opened their home to exchange students. They also cared for her mother in their home.

She was very involved in her community and the Trump campaign and recently loved running the Grant County Bid n’Win via Facebook, developing some deep friendships there as she found ways to help others with their needs. She was always so generous with whatever she had or could get for others. She also did a lot of pet rescue and had several “guests” at home.

She is survived by her loving husband Wesley Hayes of Moses Lake, Wash.; her boys whom she loved more than anything: JR (Danielle) McNew of Sand Coulee, Mont. and Lucas Clark and Kerrigan (Angela) Clark of Moses Lake; her grandchildren and joy of her life Jackson Clark, Emily Delarosa and Destiny Delarosa; her mother Phyllis Kinsman of Moses Lake; her loving sisters Cindy (Dean) Dyer of Othello and Brenda (Tim) Giron of Silverdale, Wash.; her stepbrothers Leroy Weinman, David Kinsman, Doug Kinsman and Jim Kinsman and stepsisters Elaine Baird and Karen Kinsman; numerous nieces and nephews and her “babies” at home, her K9 companions Bella and Lilly. She was preceded in death by her father, Bert VanOssenbruggen, stepmother Frances VanOssenbruggen, stepfather Douglas Kinsman, father-in-law Ted Hayes, siblings Jolene and Alan VanOssenbruggen and beloved pet Nikki.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Rd. 2 NE, Moses Lake. Viewing will be at 10:30. Arrangements are in care of Pioneer Memorial Services.
