Kaden Jenks signs with Weber State
Rodney Harwood/Columbia Basin Herald - Royal quarterback Kaden Jenks signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, next season.
ROYAL CITY — Royal High School senior quarterback Kaden Jenks signed a National Letter of Intent to play for football at Weber State.
Jenks started all four years for Royal, finishing his career with a record of 45-6. He was named The Associated Press 1A player of the year his senior season. Jenks led the Knights to back-to-back 1A state championships and posted a combined 27-0 record as a junior and senior.
His senior season was one for the record books as he passed for 2,506 yards and 36 touchdowns, rushed for 546 yards and 15 touchdowns, and caught the eye of a football program that finished third in the Big Sky last year, including a FCS playoff berth.
