GRAND COULEE TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT NO. 1 PROPOSITION NO. 1 SALES AND USE TAX FOR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS The Board of Transportation Benefit District No. 1, Grand Coulee, Washington, adopted Resolution No. GCTB01-17-3 concerning a sales and use tax to fund transportation improvements. This proposition would authorize a sales and use tax of up to two tenths of one percent (0.002) to be collected from all taxable retail sales within the District in accordance with RCW 82.14.0455 for a term of ten years for the purpose of providing financing to fund the following improvement projects identified in the City of Grand Coulee Transportation Improvement Program (TIP): resurfacing pavement on arterial streets, adding non-motorized transportation options. YES NO GRANT COUNTY PUBLIC HOSPITAL DISTRICT #2 PROPOSITION NO. 1 LEVY FOR OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE The Commission of Public Hospital District No. 2, Grant County adopted Resolution No. 17-09, concerning a proposition to finance operations and maintenance. If approved, this proposition would authorize the District to levy a special one-year property tax levy in excess of its regular levy for collection in 2019 in the amount of $875,000, resulting in an estimated levy rate of $.2179 per $1,000 of assessed value, to provide additional funds to operate and maintain the District's health care facilities and essential services, all as provided in Resolution No. 17-09. Notice of Application January 3, 2018 Notice is hereby given that a Short Subdivision application was received by Grant County on December 19, 2017 from James Sircin (Designated Contact: Knudsen Land Survey, LLC (Chad Lampe), 130 1st Ave NW, PO Box 505, Ephrata, WA 98823) and was found to be technically complete on December 27, 2017.
