Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said a family member received a threatening call from an unknown suspect who claimed to be from the Internal Revenue Service.
Report of mail theft. Reporting party said he watched two women take the mail from his mailbox and followed them to an address in Moses Lake. Both were contacted by law enforcement.

Report of theft at a business at 1201 S. Pioneer Way. Suspects left the business without paying for merchandise. Suspects are described as two white males, both with blond hair and in their 20s. The first suspect was described as having blue eyes and wearing a black and red hat with a red bandanna underneath, red shirt and red sweats. Second suspect was described as wearing a black hat and all black clothing with a green Carhartt vest. Suspect vehicle is a white Ford Taurus.
Feb. 22
Report of suspicious person in the 1100 block of West Rose Avenue. Officers found an intoxicated male subject asleep in a vehicle that didn’t belong to him. Officers woke him up and sent him home.
Report of one-vehicle, hit and run accident in the 1200 block of East Wheeler Road. Driver of vehicle 1 drove over the sidewalk, hit a mailbox, then left the scene. Driver was contacted and issued citations for distracted driving and wheels of the roadway.
Report of theft from a residence in the 1500 block of South Skyline Drive. Packages stolen from residence.
Report of a student with marijuana at Frontier Middle School, 517 W. Third Ave. Student was released to parent.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 700 block of Northwest Sunburst Court. Victim said her vehicle was broken into sometime overnight and her purse and debit card stolen.
Report of vandalism at a residence in the 900 block of South Balsam Street. Graffiti was sprayed on a fence.
Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said unknown caller claimed a family member would be arrested on an outstanding warrant if she didn’t pay.
Report of assault at a residence in the 900 block of East Ball Court. Reporting party said about six juveniles got out of a car and assaulted the victim with a stick. Victim refused medical care and didn’t want to pursue charges.
Report of theft from a residence in the 600 block of South Bayside Street. Reporting party said clothing and jewelry were stolen from a house the family had partially vacated. Estimated value, $2,900.
Report of shots fired in the 1500 block of North Daniel Street. Five shell casings were found at the scene.
Feb. 23
Report of suspicious subject at a residence in the 2100 block of West Spruce Street. Subject claimed he was using open Wi-Fi. He was asked to be cognizant of the fact he would look suspicious at 4 a.m.
Report of theft at a business at 102 E. Third Ave. Suspect, a 27-year-old man, allegedly went into the business while it was closed and stole food, beverages and a laptop. Case is still under investigation.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 400 block of South Wanapum Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 was making a right turn from I-90 and slid into car stopped at the light on Lakeshore Drive.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of West Valley Road and North Crestview Drive. Driver of vehicle 2 made left turn from Airway Drive on to Valley Road and was hit by vehicle 1.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 900 block of East Rees Street. Driver of vehicle 1 rear-ended vehicle 2 while vehicle 2 was waiting to turn left.
Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident at a business at 117 West Broadway Ave. Reporting party said she was parked at the curb and her car was hit by an unknown vehicle that left the scene.
A 44-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of East Yonezawa Boulevard and South Clover Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 slid in the roundabout and ran into vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for driving too fast for conditions, no vehicle insurance and expired vehicle registration.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 1513 W. Broadway Ave. Driver of vehicle 2 stopped for a semi that had pulled in front, and was rear-ended by vehicle 1.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for third-degree malicious mischief (domestic violence) and interfering with reporting domestic violence.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2000 block of West Valley Road. Driver of vehicle 2 was turning left onto Lee Street and was hit by vehicle 2, which failed to stop in time.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Report of one-vehicle accident at the intersection of East Yonezawa Boulevard and South Clover Drive. Driver of vehicle 1 slid in icy conditions and hit a curb, damaging the vehicle.
Report of a parking problem in the 1900 block of West Peninsula Drive. Officers found a vehicle with plates that didn’t belong to the vehicle; when checking the ID number, officers determined the car had been stolen. The vehicle was towed.
Report of attempted phone fraud. Reporting party said caller told her she needed to make immediate payment to the IRS.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for second-degree burglary and second-degree theft.
A man, no age given, was arrested on an outstanding Grant County warrant and for possession of methamphetamines.
Report of attempted fraud. Reporting party received message via social media, from subject claiming to know her, offering her money. Officers attempted to call telephone number provided and it came back as non-working.

Report of theft from a business at 980 N. Central Drive. Suspect stole tools, estimated value, $360.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at North Stratford Road and West Mart Road. Driver of vehicle 1 ran into the back of vehicle 2.
A 40-year-old woman was arrested after she attempted to steal merchandise from a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. and ran from law enforcement. Allegedly she had methamphetamines in her possession. She was charged with possession of controlled substances, second-degree burglary and third-degree theft.
Feb. 25
Report of car stolen in the 900 block of North Grape Drive. Owner left the car to warm up and found it gone 10 minutes later.
Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of a business at 826 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 was backing out and hit vehicle 2, which was parked and unoccupied.
A 28-year-old man was arrested for burglary after allegedly being caught in the act of breaking into a residence in the 700 block of South Dahlia Drive.
Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 1000 block of South Eastlake Drive. Victim said a wallet and consumer electronics were stolen. No estimate of value.
