NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVAILABILITY OF APPLICATION PERMIT NO.: ST0501306 APPLICANT: Xyleco Inc 360 Audubon Road Wakefield, MA 01880-6249 FACILITY: Xyleco Moses Lake 3741 Road N, Moses Lake, WA 98837 Xyleco, Inc. has applied for a State Waste Discharge (SWD) permit in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Xyleco Moses Lake facility manufactures sugars, ethanol and lactic acid from cellulosic feedstocks, such as corn cob. The facility discharges industrial wastewater to the City of Moses Lake Larson POTW and is designed for a maximum daily flow of 108,000 gallon per day (gpd) and an average monthly flow of 86,400 gpd. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued. The Department of Ecology is proposing to issue the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent.
