Mid-Columbia Libraries event brings favorite fairy and folk tales to life

Mid-Columbia Libraries (MCL) will bring favorite fairy and folk tales to life at their Fairy Tale Faire on Saturday, Mar. 3 at the Kennewick library.

The public is invited to experience the magic of Grimms’ and Disney classics and meet characters such as Snow White, Belle, the Beast, Little Red Riding Hood, Olaf, Ariel, and more. There will be crafts and activities; food will be available for purchase from local vendors. Costumes are encouraged!

Kennewick library also hosts a Fairy Tale Faire movie marathon featuring free showings of Disney movies in February. Many MCL branches are hosting special programs, “Enchanted Tales with Belle” preschool hour and “Once Upon a Time” elementary adventures, during the month of February. The event will be held at Mid-Columbia Libraries’ Kennewick Branch, 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick. Movie Marathon will be every Wednesday at 3 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. in February starting on Feb. 7. Fairy Tale Faire will be held Saturday, Mar. 3 from 6- 8 p.m.
