Mobile Food Bank coming to Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE — The Second Harvest Mobile Food Bank will be stopping in Moses Lake next week to help out local families in need.

The indoor event will be held in the gymnasium at North Elementary School, 1200 W. Craig St., Feb. 22 from 12-2 p.m. The free food distribution is sponsored by the Microsoft Data Ops in Quincy, Grant Transit Authority, the Moses Lake School District, the Opportunities Industrialization Center, Washington Trust Bank, Northwest Farm Credit Services and Thrivent Financial Services.

Free produce, perishable food and other groceries will be handed out to all households that are in need of food assistance. The food bank is open to the public and appointments or documentation are not necessary.
