I learned a lot from Roger Re. article in Sun Tribune dated 01-31-2018

Roger Thieme was also my mentor when I was vice-chairman/facilities manager for the Othello Food Bank, and when I served on the Adams County Park District board.

When I brought up a need/problem for either the food bank, or the park district, I would sit with him either at coffee, or in his office, and we would come up with a solution and a way to finance it. In most cases he financed it, not in his name, but in the name of the employees of Evergreen Implement. I learned a lot from Roger. Even with the sale of Evergreen Implement to RDO I’m glad he still will be in Othello’s future.
