Feb. 2

A 32-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Washington Department of Corrections warrant.

Report of Moses Lake High School student with marijuana at school. Student was cited and released to a parent.

Report of theft from a business at 2822 W. Driggs Dr. Guest registered for a room at the motel, and the housekeeping staff found items missing the next morning.

Officer observed an accident at 825 N. Stratford Rd. Driver of vehicle 1 fled the scene and was pursued by officers. Driver of vehicle 1, a 25-year-old man, was arrested for attempting to elude law enforcement, third-degree driving with a suspended license, an outstanding WDOC warrant and probation violation.

A juvenile male was taken into custody after fleeing a state-operated foster home.

A 35-year-old man  was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) and third-degree malicious mischief.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Report of one-vehicle, non-injury accident. Driver of vehicle 1 hit a traffic sign.

Report of two-vehicle, non-injury accident at South Alder Street and East Fifth Avenue. Driver of vehicle 1 attempted to cross Fifth Street and was hit by vehicle 2. Driver of vehicle 1 was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

A 28-year-old man and 23-year-old man were arrested on outstanding Grant County warrants.

Report of attempted theft at a business at 960 N. Stratford Rd. Suspect was stopped before leaving the store with about $24 in merchandise. Arrested and released.

A 27-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County felony warrant.

Report of assault at a business at 2481 S. Maiers Rd. Reporting party said he was pumping gas when the subject approached him and hit him six times in the face, breaking his nose. Suspect allegedly was upset that the reporting party was dating subject’s ex-girlfriend.

Feb. 3

Report of theft from a business at 640 N. Stratford Rd. Unknown male suspect stole a pastry.

Report of mail theft from a residence in the 300 block of North Grape Drive.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 900 block of East Lark Avenue. Reporting party said unknown suspects stole items, no value available, from a storage shed and the exterior of the residence.

Report of burglary at a residence in the 500 block of North Pennsylvania Street. Victim said unknown suspects broke into the house and stole consumer electronics, tools, a safe containing cash and jewelry, and a motorized scooter.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding WDOC warrant.

Report of fraud. Male suspect used a counterfeit $100 to buy doughnuts at a fundraiser at the intersection of North Stratford Road and West Valley Road. Suspect received $90 in change. Suspect was described as a heavyset white male, driving a maroon Ford sedan. He was accompanied by a heavyset white female with red lips tattooed on her neck.

Report of theft from a business at 110 W. Third Ave. Female suspect took clothing without paying. Suspect was described as a short woman with blonde hair.

Report of theft from a business at 601 S. Pioneer Way. Unknown male suspect pushed out a cart of unpaid-for merchandise. Suspect vehicle was described as a white Nissan Xterra.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and for resisting arrest.

Report of theft. Victim said he wasn’t sure when the items were stolen but possibly while he was at a business at 980 Central Dr. Unknown suspects stole backpack and phone; backpack had a .41 caliber nickel-plated revolver, serial No. CLW2896. The bag also held knives and a shovel.

A man, no age listed, was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

A 32-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Feb. 4

Report of theft. Reporting party said suspect offered to give him a ride to Yakima and stopped to buy gas. Once the reporting party got out ot the truck and pumped the gas, the subject drove away. The reporting party’s keys, cash and phone charger were still in the vehicle.

Report of two-vehicle, hit and run accident in the 600 block of West Loop Drive. Suspect vehicle was located about two blocks from the scene; the driver, a 24-year-old woman, was cited for hit and run and driving without liability insurance.

Report of one-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of West Oregon Street. Unknown vehicle hit a mailbox, damaging five mailboxes and the support to which they were attached.

Report of vehicle prowl at a residence in the 2200 block of West Basin Street. Reporting party said unknown suspects took documents and phone charger sometime within the last two days.

Report of counterfeit $100 bill changed at a business at 2461 S. Maiers Rd. The bill was used at the drive-thru; driver was described as a Hispanic male, about 20 years of age. Passengers were described as a heavyset blond female and a heavyset Hispanic female.

A man, no age listed, was arrested for second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and two outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants.

Report of theft at a business at 1005 N. Stratford Rd. Suspects were contacted at another business. A suspect, no age listed, was arrested for violation of a protection order, third-degree theft, an outstanding WDOC felony warrant, multiple misdemeanor warrants. A second suspect, no age listed, was cited for third-degree theft and released.

A 21 year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants.

A 46-year-old man was arrested on three outstanding Grant County felony warrants and two outstanding Grant County misdemeanor warrants.

Richard Ruff, 32, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for probation violation.

Shane Hamilton, 39, no address listed, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Yoban Nunez Diaz, 28, Quincy, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), fourth-degree assault, third-degree theft and two counts of violating a no-contact order.

Quetzal Bustos Fernandez, 29, Royal City, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Benjiman Samuels, no age listed, Nespelem, was booked on an outstanding GCDC warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).

Giovanni Powell, 26, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and on outstanding GCDC warrants for resisting arrest and obstructing law enforcement.

Ian Libby, 27, Soap Lake, was booked on an outstanding WDOC warrant for probation violation and outstanding GCDC warrants for driving without required ignition interlock and third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Gabriel Gonzalez, 36, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding Adams County warrant for third-degree theft and six outstanding Benton County warrants.

Monica Gonzalez, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on two outstanding GCDC warrants for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Karl Groenke, 34, Mattawa, was booked for first-degree trespassing.

Michael Fale, 24, Ephrata, was booked on an outstanding Douglas County warrant for third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Bryant Smith, 25, Moses Lake, was booked on outstanding GCDC warrants for two counts of third-degree driving with a suspended license.

Joseph Rogers, no age listed, Grand Coulee, was booked for residential burglary.

Kari Chapman, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for third-degree driving with a suspended license and an outstanding Adams County warrant for violating conditions of sentence.

Henry Ornelas, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked on an outstanding GCSC warrant for DUI and reckless driving.

Luis Lira, no age listed, Moses Lake, was booked for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
