Eva Balli

Eva Balli was born Oct. 31, 1933, in Harlingen, Texas to Claro and Sofia Vela and passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 1/2-year-old daughter Leticia Balli, infant son Joe M. Balli and her beloved husband of 52 years Jose Pedro Balli.

Eva married the love of her life Jose Pedro Balli on July 15, 1953. They lived in Texas until February 1966, when they moved to Moses Lake, where they raised their seven children.

She is survived by her children Berta Balli of Bandon, Ore., Daze A. Gallegos and husband Tim of Delta, Colo., Pete Balli of Tacoma, Wash., Abigail S. Balli of Las Vegas, Nev., Evelyn J. Balli of Tacoma, Wash., Karen L. Balli of Pasco, Wash. and Arthur S. Balli and wife Dina of Mount Vernon, Wash.; eight grandchildren Victoria Trujillo, Eugene J. Reyna and wife Leticia, Michael J. Trunkhill, Charlene Gallegos-Thatcher and husband Richard, Eduardo Balli-Rubio, Krystal A. Balli-Rubio, Victor Perches and Levi B. Hurley; eight great-grandchildren, four sisters; four brothers and various nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, singing, listening to music, gardening and shopping.

Her family will hold memories of her singing and sense of humor close to their hearts.

A private service was held Dec. 18, 2018. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice Services of America. They made a huge difference in her final days.
