Moses Lake trucker dies in Montana crash
MISSOULA, Mont. — A truck driver from Moses Lake died last week in a collision near Missoula, Mont. after he hopped over a guardrail following a collision in an attempt to avoid oncoming traffic.
According to the Associated Press Jatinderpal Singh, 32, of Delta, British Columbia, Canada, died early Wednesday morning when he crashed his semi-truck into other semis that wrecked on icy roads outside of Superior, Mont., northeast of Missoula.
The AP reports Vilyam Veresko, 30, of Moses Lake, died as well after he exited his crashed semi-truck and fell to his death after he jumped over a guardrail in an attempt to avoid oncoming traffic. NBC Montana reports Kyle Rauch, a firefighter for the Frenchtown Rural Fire Department, which provides service to Missoula, was seriously injured after he slipped on some black on the roadway, fell over a bridge deck and went 40 feet down an embankment.
