Grant County looking for volunteer for disability board

EPHRATA — Grant County Commissioners are seeking a volunteer to fill the citizen-at-large position on the Grant County Law Enforcement and Fire Fighter Disability Board.

The board typically meets on the second Tuesday of each month beginning at 4 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners hearing room in the County Courthouse in Ephrata.

The term is two years, and the position is unpaid.

According to a news release from the commissioners’ office, the purpose of the disability board is to evaluate claims for disability and illness made by law enforcement officers and firefighters.
