MOSES LAKE — Flu season is here, and with the increased risk of infection Samaritan Hospital has enacted visitor restrictions in the hospital’s inpatient treatment wards.
Children 12 years of age and younger “are discouraged from entering the facility, and will not be allowed to enter the acute care or mother-baby unit,” according to a press release issued by the hospital. Patients will be asked to limit visits to no more than two people at a time.
People who are experiencing flu-like symptoms, or who have a fever, cold or sore throat are asked to avoid coming to the hospital. “Please stay home and rest,” the press release said.
